David and Max / David, twelve years old but too short for his school team, takes his basketball along on summer vacation, hoping to find a court and some friends. Whatever happens, he knows that he can count on Max, his grandfather, for good times and lots of laughs. David finds he has to deal with much more, including his grandfather's terrible years during World War II.
