The Discovery of A Missing Chinese Torah Scroll / A Torah scroll which is part of the Harrison Collection at Bridwell library of the Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, has recently been identified as of Chinese origin. More specifically, it has been recognised as one of the thirteen Torahs known to have belonged in 1851 to the synagogue which the Jewish community of Kaifeng, the ancient capital of Honan Province, had established in 1163.
