Visa For Life - Diplomats Who Rescued Jews / A booklet commemorating the actions of diplomats who saved the lives of Jews during World War II. Of the nearly 16,000Righteous Gentiles recognized by Yad Vashem, nine were diplomats. Although only a small number, they saved tens of thousands of Jews. Devotes two pages to each of the diplomats, the first describing his actions and the second containing photographs. The diplomats are: Raoul Wallenberg, Chiune Sugihara, Per Anger, Giorgio Perlasca, Aristides de Sousa Mendes, Jan Zwartendijk (Dutch Consul in Kovno), Feng Shan Ho (the Chinese Consul in Vienna, 1938-41), Hiram Bingham IV (U.S. Vice-Consul in Marseille), Carl Lutz.
