When a group of die-hard Sherlock Holmes fans gets word that Hollywood plans to produce a hard-boiled interpretation, they threatened the picture with a campaign of boycotts and smears. Recognizing the group's influence, the studio invites a selection of members to visit the set, hoping to placate their complaints.
